The upcoming Korea Week event “The 5th Korean Culture Festival will be held” for a total of 3 days from September 27th (Friday) to September 29th (Sunday)
Friday, September 27th 6pm-10pm
Where: CM Chicken Overland Park
While experiencing a lunch menu that includes chicken, beer, and hot dogs, which is a late-night meal menu that Koreans want and love,
This is an event where you can enjoy various games while singing Korean songs. The main target is Korean-style young people in Kansas City
This is a festival where you can experience Kpop and various Korean young people's culture based on the concept of Korean karaoke while enjoying chicken and beer.
Saturday, September 28, 10am - 3pm
Where: The Student Union @UMKC
We invite you to the “Arirang” Korean Culture Festival held in the UMKC University Student Auditorium from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. This festival is hosted by UMKC and the Kansas Korean Society, and it will be a meaningful time to introduce Korean traditions and culture to everyone.
The following various programs are being prepared at this festival:
• food: An opportunity to enjoy a variety of Korean foods
• Taekwondo: Taekwondo trial and experience
• K-pop: Fun time with K-pop performances
• Tradition: Korean traditional dance and craft experience
September 29th (Sunday) 2:30pm-6pm
Where: Kansas Mission Church Overland Park
We offer a variety of workshop programs as workshops for Americans who love Korean culture or want to deepen their experience.
You will learn and experience Korean culture through various workshop programs such as making kimchi, basic Korean language classes, taekwondo experiences, and traditional Korean dance.

In order to successfully host this festival, we need the interest and support of many Koreans. In particular, there is a need for volunteers in various fields. If you would like to help us prepare and host the festival, please apply as a volunteer.
