we attended the Minority Business Development Agency's network events on June 21 and heard about the federal government's Grant case.

On June 21, the Korean Community attended a network and discussion held at the Minority Chamber of Commerce Development Center. The event commemorated the federal government's award of a $4 million building for ethnic minorities in Kansas City. The building was awarded to the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and the Black Chamber of Commerce under the leadership of the federal agency Minority Business Development Agency and Congressman Emmanuel Cleaver. The Korean American Center Building Committee saw this case as a good example of the federal government providing grants to ethnic minorities, and attended this meeting to support ethnic minorities and strengthen relationships with other ethnic groups. As a result of this, we are making continuous efforts to gain consensus on the interest and importance of Korean American centers from the federal government, state governments, and other communities. The Korean American Center is not just a space for Koreans, but we will do our best to become a Korean-led center that has a positive impact on the surrounding community and other races.
