Korean Community Center January 2024 Update
The construction of the Kansas City Korean Community Center has long been a deeply held aspiration and mission among the Korean diaspora in Kansas. The Kansas City Korean Community Center, as a nonprofit organization, aims to foster unity and development within the Korean community, support Korean-American cultural exchanges, and serve as a historical site to be passed down to future generations. During the last Kansas City Korean Association's year-end party, an update on the current financial status was provided, reflecting the progress made towards realizing this significant endeavor.
Since its establishment, the Korean American Association of Kansas City has been actively organizing various events and fundraising campaigns to continuously raise funds for the construction of a community center. The association is diligently planning numerous events with the goal of constructing the Korean Community Center by 2026. We sincerely ask for the interest and participation of many Korean community members to support these efforts.
