6.25 Veterans Appreciation Day 2022

On Saturday, June 25, 2022, the Korean American Association of Kansas City, led by President Kim Seong-bae, hosted the 'Korean War Veterans Appreciation Day' event at Cinzetti's Restaurant. The event was attended by 38 U.S. military veterans and their families, along with 56 members including the presidency, advisors, and board members of the Korean American Association of Kansas City. Representing the U.S. veterans were Mr. Al Lemieux, commander of the KWVA Kansas City Chapter, and Mr. Tom Stevens, commander of the Kansas KWVA chapter. Representing Korean military veterans, Elder Kim Chul-hee shared moving stories related to the Korean War. The event concluded with words of thanks from Advisor Kim Young-ryeol."
