On Saturday, October 15, 2022, and Sunday, October 16, 2022, the Korean American Association of Kansas City hosted the '3rd KC ARIRANG' event at the Hilltop Conference Center and Kansas Mission Church. The event saw the participation of approximately 200 young Americans from Kansas City who love K-pop and Korean culture, as well as Korean Americans and volunteers. The event, organized by the Korean American Association of Kansas City, was made significant by the attendance of the association’s presidency, advisors, and board members.
The second day of the '3rd KC ARIRANG' featured a 'KOREAN CULTURE WORKSHOP' with three sessions: 1. Introduction to Hangul Class, 2. K-pop Taster Class, 3. Kimchi Making Class. These workshops facilitated registration through a streamlined administrative system using internet QR codes, allowing participants to register online, saving considerable time in promoting the association and event registration.
Particularly, the '3rd KC Arirang' event promoted Korean culture to many young students through website advertisements at five high schools in the Overland Park Blue Valley area. The Korean culture workshops provided opportunities to experience and appreciate the excellence of Hangul and taste Korean culture firsthand.
